I never have. Hell I've never broken in any clutch haha.

I put about 20k miles on one and never broke it in. Only replaced it when I rebuilt the motor.

ceramic 6 puck clutch does not need to be broken in. most organic types or kevlar should be broken in, or so ive been told

by the way what kind of disc do you use integra_98gsr

ACT unsprung ceramic 6 puck.

I've never been a fan of clutch breakin. Drive it around the block and make sure it is engaging and disengaging properly and then rail the **** out of it.

Only major clutch problems I've had have been stripping the splines on the clutch disc and having an ACT pressure plate collapse. Both of which were due to a faulty disc and pressure plate.

Yea, i only break in organic full face disks, those stopped holding long ago. I have a ceramic 4 puck now, but i drove it normal for about 50 miles due to the face that i didnt resurface the FW because it only had about 4k on it from my other clutch. But basically, I just make sure its holding, and then its ***** to the wall from there.

That's why I went with a street disk. Hopefully it holds my power goal though.

Thats correct. Puck style disks wont glaze over like organic or kevlar disks can.
(unless exposed to oil). A few slips is all they need to be broken in. They will
just squeal for a little while sometimes while they are wearing in,
expecially if your pressure plate or flywheel arent perfectly flat.

the reason you break in discs is to heat treat the springs also, and since you're using an unsprung disc no warm them up before use as a break in
