Do I have to rebuild my turbo?
Back then I had a failure to my engine which result in a spun bearing. I found shavings in my oil pan and vtec solenoid. Do you think it has reach inside of my turbo and do I need a rebuild or not?
thanks

Re: Do I have to rebuild my turbo? (redturbocivic)
check the shaft play and inspect the fins for damage...
If there isn't any shaft play and the fins are fine then I would say you are good to go.

Shavings in the oil pan yes but in the vtec solenoid ? Am I missing something here ? If it's noobish no intentions but I never heard of that.
