Default Do I have to rebuild my turbo?

Back then I had a failure to my engine which result in a spun bearing. I found shavings in my oil pan and vtec solenoid. Do you think it has reach inside of my turbo and do I need a rebuild or not?

thanks

check the shaft play and inspect the fins for damage...

If there isn't any shaft play and the fins are fine then I would say you are good to go.

Shavings in the oil pan yes but in the vtec solenoid ? Am I missing something here ? If it's noobish no intentions but I never heard of that.

Like EJ1 said and everyone esle chk the shaft for play and chk the fins for damage. If you see some you answer is yes it needs a rebuild.
