... what diameter piping does everyone recommend?... before the intercooler?... after?...
setup (after rebuild):
- T3/60-1 .63 a/r
- JE pistons (81.5mm 9.8:1)
- Eagle rods
- ARP head studs
- ACL bearings
- uberchip
- GE or STR blockguard
- GM 2-bar map sensor
- oem headgasket, oil/water pump, etc

i run 2.25 in. pipes execpt for my charge pipe it's 2.5in. how much boost do you plan on running? if over 20psi you might want to consider the 2.5in. charge pipe.

Something like air flow is slowed down, or turbo takes longer to come onto boost cause it has to pressurize that much more space.
Earl can contest to this. He has quoted many of times that certain racers have made 500+ on 2.25 back in the days when air to air was used on race cars.
