different ODB2 for 96-98 and 99-00
This guy is trying to tell me that the ODB2 harness on 96-98 and 99-00 are different, is this true? I thought it was a standard?
i couldnt find anything that reffered to this in my searches, so mabey i am searching for the wrong topic?

99-00 is like obd2 and a half the plugs are all different. Im not sure on the actual engine functions, but all of the interior engine harness plugs are different. I found this out the hard way by ordering a 99-00 because it was on clearance

I think I have the same problem about having the wrong one.
OBD1/OBDII ECUs

Hondata has OBDI P28 ECUs modified with OBDII connectors. These plug straight into an OBDII vehicle with no adapter harness necessary. Available with OBDII A (96-97) and OBDII B (98-00) connectors.
