Default Difference between Iridium BKR8EIX and V-Power R5671A-8 NGK Spark Plugs.

Both 8 heat range... the bkr is an iridium plug which costs 3x as much as the normal vpower. In normal lamens terms what is the difference? Not the mombo jumbo they say on the website, and with the difference how does it apply to our cars?

iridium has a higher melting point than any other spark plug material (including platinum). it is also MUCH stronger... the smaller fine wire tip means you'll have less possibility of spark jump.

pratically speaking, it just means your plugs will last longer and ignite more consistantly than platinum plugs.

you need to make sure to use a resistor type plug.. almost all the ngk r-series plugs are non resistor. non resistor can lead to coils and ignitors burning up.

we run the bkr8 and 9eix in damn near everything with exelent results
