he wants the pros and cons, 5 better than 4 doesnt convince him enough on which one he should get. i personally would like to know too even tho i settled for the 4 bolt turbo, i never rele thought about the significance and importance. i just considered that 5 bolt would b better over a 4 if your turbine is on the driver side and there would be a better seal with the 5 bolt for the downpipe to curl downwards. if you have the turbine on the passenger side, a 4 bolt would be good enough, less curves the downpipe takes. its also a matter of whats good enough, you dont have to have the 5 bolt. most downpipes fabricated here for hondas are 4 bolt, offered for there ramhorn manifold. to keep ac and ps, you get the log manifold where the turbine is on the driver side and require the 5bolt downpipe. so yea, it depends on what kind of manifold and downpipe you get, and if you are keeping AC and PS

well i have an EP with K20, and i believe the turbine is on the drivers side, on a tubular manifold... thanks for the info
anyone else have input?

so you have a k20, i inputed more about a turbo on a b-series. since your motor position is reversed, theres not much to consider between the 4bolt and 5 bolt. just make sure that wherever you get your manifold and downpipe, make sure they have 5 bolt because the majority fabricated are 4 bolt. i think you'll be good enough with a 4bolt downpipe but if they make a 5 bolt at no extra charge, grab the 5 bolt.
