Default did search: aeromotive fpr w/ stock rail? drill & tap? is it possible?

ok, another member on here is helping me add an aeromotive fpr on my STOCK rail, he advised me to use a 1/4" tap then use a 1/4" npt to 6an adapter to mount the fpr. has anyone done this? i really dont want to buy a new rail and ss lines (gets expensive at that piont) just wondering what parts i would need, can i use my stock vac line & fuel return hose on the aeromotive fpr? (i'll be using the smaller aeromotive w/ the 6an ports) do i need to buy plugs for the ports i dont use? or does the fpr come w/ them? also the fpr comes w/ a 1/8" npt port to install a guage, does that come w/ a plug if i dont want to use that port for now? (my guage is mounted to the filter and i lost the stock fitting )

I would tap the stock outlet for the rail to 1/8" and put a nipple there, run
a line to the aeromotive and have a nipple put on there as well.
The FPR should come with a plug for the pressure port, but as for the other -6
ports you will probably need to buy pllugs for those.

1/8 instead of 1/4 how come? just wondering....i see where your going, so tap, install nipple or 1/8 to 6an adapter,6an hose end,6an line,6an hose end, connect to fpr. cap or plug the other two 6an ports, connect vac line,etc... just by remote of a chance would you know if the fuel return port would fit over the 6an port? if not should i buy a barb to an fitting and connect it that way?

OR SHOULD I JUST BUY AN AEM FPR?

Honestly for all the trouble this is going to cause for you, you might want to
consider just getting an AEM. But really why do you need an adjustable
regulator anyway? just use a stock GSR/ITR regulator.

ya maybe i should go w/ the aem but i was under the impression the stock fpr wont suffice w/ turbo applications, im running a hondata stage 2b (like YOU didnt know that) w/ rc 440cc's, if i get on the dyno and need to lower/raise my fp i'm sol w/ the non-adjastable fpr right? arrgg! the confusion!
