Default Did I just make a mistake buying 2001 B18c5 ITR valvesprings?

So I am building a b18c1 with S2 tuner stg1 cams, Eddy Vic X intake manifold, ported GSR head, and a cxracing turbo kit that I already had so that is what I'm using for FI. So my question is my goal is to make some in 4XXwhp range not sure what rpm I'll be spinning but I purchased the valvesprings mentioned in title my question is will these springs be enough for my build? Or did I just throw money in the wind?

there is a trade off, the type R springs will allow for an extra 500 rpms of rev but that might be counter reacted by the added boost pressure. I’m guessing that 8k shifts and up to 15 psi would probably be safe. The more boost you add the less effective the springs become in turn losing the ability for higher rpms, treat it like timing, for every pound of boost over 10psi I would reduce redline by 100rpms. I might be completely wrong and someone might correct me on this

Ďalso, Iím not sure how aggressive the turner 2 cams are, that could also reduce the max rpm also since there is more lift, that might be a tech all to Skunk2

unless it's a big turbo,(61lbs/min +), don't. if you're staying skunk, stick with Tuner1.

In God's name, why THAT company? You're better off taking a chance with the stock ITR over that nonsense.

After you buy retainers, it’s not much more to get the supertech or skunk2.

if your trying to stay at or below factory redline, just use the Type R springs, they are proven Honda parts. Just remember budget build have limits, just because they are budget don’t always mean they are better than what you had already. I Know a guy that made over 700hp on a stock GSR head, he just stayed within factory redline. I personally would keep stock valves. I’d just talk with people that has done what your about to do and make sure they had good results and if you can’t find people that use the parts your trying to use.... there is probably a reason why. Looks like You came here wanting everyone to just agree with you, but we try to help and sometimes that means telling you what you don’t want to hear

I wasn't wanting anyone to agree just looking for help. After comparing blox specs to others springs they should do as I. Seat pressures etc. Thanks for the quick response.

Budget build to destroy itself pretty fast. This is a mistake. Not everything on a spec sheet is the same material quality, use, etc.

You just made the simple very complicated in your quest for "budget build". :smh:
