Default Defi Link Display /w boost guage vs. Autometer guages

Finally, almost, done accumulating all my parts! All thats left really are gauges. I'd rather not have multiple gauges in my car, which is why the Defi display would be best, but at the same time I'd rather not blow $700+ on that and sensors. Also anyone know how much each sensor is?

Defi quality is awesome, from my experience.

Autometer, well, depends.

Do you need the link-capability of the defi? If not, get the basic defi without link capability.

If you're just not down with spending that money, go autometer, but get GOOD autometer.

Autometer graces my car.

They've been used in domestics for decades. I trust 'em. Occasionally you'll see a thread about one being bad, but I buy my autometer stuff from summit, and they're always very understanding.

Ah i dont really need the link capability, but I just want the display because id rather not have multiple guages in the car. The dsplay needs the control unit though

I have been really happy with the Nordskog gauges. They have a wide variety of options and their tech guys are great. They added an A/F guage that works with wide band voltage to their product line just because I called and asked for one.

you could try the defi blue/white racer gauges. they dont use the link and they read in standard units.

they are not accurate, they brake, they have a lot of problems. i will give 1 example of many bad experience's i have had.

street tuning a car, on 91 octane gas, Autometer boost gauge shows 10-12psi so thats were the owner of the car left the boost controller, car pulls so hard to the right we nearly hit a parked car, no way this was a 12psi run. We pulled the AEM EMS logs and it read 23.5psi, the only reason the motor didn't blow up is cause the car had 680cc injectors and we had it on boost comp so it maintained its target A/F. i still think its a miracle that engine didn't blow, it was a completely stock LS/Vtec!
