Default decided to be a nice guy and put a cat on my exhaust.

I put a nice 3" high flow carsound cat on my turbo GSR so I wouldn't be such an environmental ***, but for God sakes my car feels ******* slow now. It's much quieter which I like, but it feels like I've got 300 lbs of iorn bricks strapped to my hood. I am so tempted to yank this ****** back off. It feels like I've got the A/C on. I feel myself giving it more gas to move, which seems to defeat the purpose of putting one on since I feel the need to suck more fuel now. Does anyone here know what kind of hit turbo cars take with a cat? I don't notice **** on N/A cars, but on a turbo it sure seems to build up some unwanted back pressure.

Hey AEKA, i remember u way back then from Hondasociety Nice to know u got ur car boosted and everything (yeah i know i'm outdated) as far as the cat... Damn thats just typical of a restrictive exhaust system.

lol, woah, oldschool stuff here. Yeah I've been boostin for over 2 years now. I'm thinking about keeping the cat but widening up the intercooler plumbing. Those were good times at hondasociety. Outuvit is still together but dwindelling, we are all growing up and having our own families, it takes away from the good times we had, but I stay in contact with em. So whats new?

Cats suck. Get rid of it.

Changing the intercooler piping will not do anything to help you.

It's also true that you want to retune.

Where do you get the idea that a catalytic converter has anything to do with being environmentally friendly?

10-15 horsepower difference wouldn't be anything out of the ordinary.
