DeatschWerks Fuel Injectors
We have been around Honda-Tech for a few years now, answering tech and sharing interests. Any questions you guy have about fuel or injectors, please feel free to ask.
If you've ever wondered about what kind of fuel it takes to make a certain amount of power, we have a few handy calculators here: DW Fuel Calculators
Also, check out Dan's college-budget build to give you an idea of what you can do with a little thrifty spending. VVV
Just recently had a college-budget build on a '05 RSX and E85 put down 326whp with our 800cc injectors. Check out Dan’s ride here.
We will be exhibiting at SEMA next week and will be introducing our new fuel pump at the show.
...and after SEMA we will be putting the final touches on our new B/D/H-series line-up.
What we have currently:
Honda Civic D17 450cc
Honda Civic D17 525cc
Honda K20/K24 450cc
Honda K20/K24 600cc
Honda K20/K24 800cc
Honda S2000 F20/F22 450cc
Honda S2000 F20/F22 600cc
Honda S2000 F20/F22 800cc
What we have coming soon:
Honda K20/K24 1000cc/1300cc + 1-2 larger size TBD
Honda S2000 F20/F22 1000cc/1300cc + 1-2 larger size TBD
Honda B/D/H 450cc/600cc/800cc/1000cc/1300cc + 1-2 larger sizes TBD
300LPH In-Tank Fuel Pump
I'm very excited about getting involved in the H-T communty, as I've been a Honda guy for almost a decade now!

Re: DeatschWerks Fuel Injectors
Hows the physical size of your new pump compared to a walbro 255. Any chance we could sqeeze two of these in with a Full Blown Kit or is it about the same size as a bosch in-tank.

Sure...for a build like yours. ...but there aren't too many builds out there that need a A1000 pump. ...and there are quite a few where a 255 just isn't quite enough.

Re: DeatschWerks Fuel Injectors
could you PM a price and a flow sheet if you have it. Need to know flow rating 40 - 100 PSI. I will be using 2 of these with a full blown kit and 2000cc injectors in a h22 civic, trying to make 850+ on E98. Thanks.

Re: DeatschWerks Fuel Injectors
can you send me the same info but for 1000cc. How long until the B series injectors come out? Looking to make 700+ in my 4dr and comparing these to the ID1000s

Re: DeatschWerks Fuel Injectors
You might want to look at our 1300cc if you are looking to make 700+hp.
You'd have to run the base fuel pressure around 65-70psi to deliver enough fuel for that kind of power on the 1000cc. That is going to work your fuel pump pretty hard.
With the 1300cc injectors, you should be able to support the power you are looking to make and keep the base fuel pressure around stock levels. That should make your fuel pump more efficient. Keep in mind, we'll have our new 300LPH pump available around the first of the year, and with the 1300cc and 300LPH pump, you should be able to hit your goal without having to go to some wild fuel setup.

Great news for those running Hondata K-Pros.
DeatschWerks K and F-series injectors will have calibration data on one of the next updates!

Re: DeatschWerks Fuel Injectors
I have twin walbros in the tank, pretty sure I have enough pump for 1000cc injectors to work for my setup lol. So, again...how much are the 1000's going to run price wise, hell shoot me a pm with price for the 1300's as well, i'm curious. Also i'd like to know how these compare to the ID's as far as atomization, spray pattern, tuning ability, getting 1000cc injectors to idle ect...

Re: DeatschWerks Fuel Injectors
If you're running a decent Honda based programmable ecu setup, then it was probably designed for saturated injectors anyway. Remove resistor box.

No plans for a Lz injector for the OBD-0 and OBD-I guys. Like locash and Chuck stated above, the switch to Hz injectors is a pretty easy one. ...and Lz injector tech hasn't improved much since they were released 20+ years ago. The Hz injectors that are available now are a better fit for modern electronics and modern fuels.

Re: DeatschWerks Fuel Injectors
Are the 525cc injectors you guys have part#D17-525-4 for the D17 fit without modification? I am aware that any k20 injectors oem/aftermarket would work by extending the studs on the rail of a d17. Would i still need to extended studs to use these injectors. Any advice input from you guys is greatly appreciated.

Hondata kpro
arp head studs
arp rod bolts

Re: DeatschWerks Fuel Injectors
Hey Teggy,
Thanks for the question. The D17/R18 injectors that we have available are one of the few exceptions to our drop-in fitment applications. As you pointed out, the injector for the late model D17 and R18 are a shorter injector than most other Honda applications.
You will have to space the rail, and a longer stud or bolt will be needed. Connectors will be supplied that need to be wired in place of the OE connectors on the engine harness.
Let me know if you have any questions.
