Did you blow off the entire upper ring land from ring to piston top?

Or am I seeing things here?

lack of nitrous (empty bottle) did in the the motor.

I bought the motor with 55k on it from a well cared 95 EX Coupe. I installed it with a LW pulley and 10,000 miles later I had the bearing incident. I installed new Honda bearings (all GREEN!) and cleened up the crank with 600 grit emery cloth. Figuring the crank is trashed I found a used ZEX kit for $350 locally. Twenty five bottles or 250 lbs of nitrous later, I finally HURT it bad. I did melt a plug a year ago on #2 piston, 15% blowby.

Now, I only paid $500 for the motor AND tranny + axles. I had a BLAST and will do it all over again!

Swap/slicks/juice I had less than $1200 invested, name a DOHC B swap that can claim that?

Next plans are a D15B VTEC using a D15B7 block, VX rods, GX Y8 pistons, for a 12.5:1 compressoin 1.5L stomper. Expect low 14's all motor using factory parts.

Now, just think what I could do IF I had the money to play with a B swap?????

Alot of people would be hiding in shame.

Tuning + Driving, really simple!

FYI...joking with the B16 comment. But didn't you know someone was gonna say it. I'm definitely sticking with my D series, unless I win the lottery.

bottle was running empty, matter of fact less than .5 lb left in it after the LAST PASS

When you get liquid/gas/liquid/gas etc...... The pressure will vary. This varies the pressure that goes to the FPR that raises fuel pressure. Things get out of wack and you end up spraying liquid without any extra fuel.

Once things start melting with nitrous, it is like the China Syndrome if you don't catch it.
