Default DARTON blocks good for daily driving?

i saw these in the summit catalog the other day, kinda pricy but worth it imo. just wondering if this is a track only part? can all the sensors be mounted on there as well?

I have one here....looks like all the provisions are there for most stuff....other than the knock and oil sensor what else is needed? Both of these are easily relocatable....(is that a word?) I would think it would be the next best thing than waiting a month for a sleeved block that doesnt look new....it is a little more than just sleeving but its brand new....I like the fact that its Virgin Alum. ...makes it repairable when the motors 4 legs are hangin out the side of it...lol

I think you are referring to the Dart block. These are over the counter billet blocks incorporating Darton sleeves.

ya it is the billet alum block im talking about, according to their ad it has it has "bigger" coolant passages for improved cooling..... surprised more people arent running these.

$1900 a piece and they've only been available for like 3 or 4 monthes I believe. Not hard to believe considering how new they are. Most people don't want to spend moneyon something that isn't tried and proven already.

you shouldn't have any problems with cooling. in fact, you'll run cooler with this block then with your stock block.
