DAMN! Fuel pump install, No worky???
i have a 1988 crx SI.
I just dropped my tank yesterday and installed a new Walbro 255 lph in place of my factory unit. Then decide to give it a try, turn the key and nothing at all. no priming noise, or anything.
is it possible or likely to have blown a fuse the first time when trying to turn it on? and if so, what fuse is it that i should upgrade? im planning on dropping the tank again today so i can test the damn pump under 12v (durect frim battery) to rule out a defective pump. any suggestions?
Thanks,
Bryan

check power at the connector under the back seat before you drop the tank too. and get a service manual.

Re: (b16ahybrid)
My car does not, in fact, have anything labelled as a fuel pump fuse. After some dicking around one afternoon, I realized it's the one labelled "ACG" under the dash. Go figure. This was on a 93 Civic EX.

thanks everyone, turns out i had a grounding problem inside the tank. the hot wire to the fuel pump had been touching some metal in the tank.. Stupid ****, had to drop it again!..
now i got another prob..
the damn car is flooded, i think my fuel pressure is too high.
