Default D16z6 t3 turbo help!!

well i'm trying to put my t3 turbo from a saab in and the wastegate is hitting the block or its leaning against the block. i using a hf manifold with a plate. is it ok to let the wastegate lean against the block? lots of people been telling me that its ok if the wastegate lean against the block and that it will not effect the performace or melt the wastegate but others are telling me that it won't work. how are you guys out there running a hf manifold with a plate clearing your wastegate with a t3. show me some pics if possible.

I had the same problem. I am running the exact same setup as you too. I ended up grinding down some of the block webbing, adding an extra gasket to the manifold, and bending in the tab that goes around the wastegate. Even then my wastegate still sits on the block. Mine has been like this for over a year and its running great.

One of my freinds had the same problem but we diidn't care it might affect the boost like my freinds car, when he boosts it goes up to 10lbs at 4000 rpm!

lol i had the same problem, u need to swap in a smaller wastegate arm.
