D16Z6 makes 250whp 203trq st00pid tuned!
Many may rember this setup for a while back that we did for our buddy Ivan
but now we have finally got some dyno numbers to back it up.
The setup:
Stock d16z6 (for now )
Garrett T3 48 ar exhaust 60 ar intake
tial 35mm wastegate
bmc 2.5" 304 polished stainless charge lines, air filter tube, bov vent back tube
bmc 304 log manifold
bmc 304 full 3" downpipe with FACTORY X MEMBER AND ZERO NOTCHING AND ZERO DENTING
bmc 304 dumptube
johnnyracecar new style 8" intercooler
neptune tuned by Jason @ Autologic
1000cc rc injectors
greddy type s bov
Red is 15psi of boost
Blue is 4 psi of boost
Tuning was done at Autologic on Jason's new DynoJet
trq starts dropping off because the turbo isnt big enough for his setup
HUGE THANKS TO JASON, AKA: ST00PID FOR MAKING IT HAPPEN!

He has those because he plans on dropping a fully built engine in there and going for 500whp.

thanks man!
once he gets a better turbo on there (the one he has now has aprox 120,000 miles on it) he should be putting out even better numbers, he plans to put an sc61 on there pretty soon so he will get massive high end and be ready for the engine that he is building.

Re: (BigMoneyP)
How does that charge pipe/bov setup work? Is the bov between the turbo and the fmic and does it recirculate between the filter and the turbo?

Wow...
Great numbers for a STOCK engine
Is he going to drive it daily at that boost level?
What kind of map sensor is he using?
I don't think I've seen anyone take a stock d16z6 up to 15psi before, that's unheard of!
