d16z6 400hp?

Ok guys I need some help. I just recently purchased a 1995 honda civic ex with a stock d16z6. Pretty new to the whole turbo thing. Done some research the past couple days about turbo builds and have been convinced to stick with my z6 rather than spend the money for a swap and try to turbo it with the remaining money. Have around a 4k budget for a turbo build. What all do I need to get this project started? Like what's a good quality turbo that can put out 400hp? I've heard the t3 50 trim is good as well as some others. Internal wise I know I need to get new pistons, rods, head bolts etc? Do I need to do any head work or would it be fine stock with 400hp? Port/polish? Camshaft? Cam? Injectors? If this was your project what would you do?

rebuild the engine to handle that kind of hp.

You're new, so I'll be nice. We don't do spoon feeding around here. You're expected to put in a modicum of effort before posting. Your very basic questions make it clear that you have not put in any effort, and want us to just hand you everything.

Your engine will need to be heavily built to handle 400 WHP, and the amount of modification needed will exceed the cost of modifying and swapping a B series engine.

A camshaft and a cam are the same thing.

https://www.rceng.com/technical.aspx Injector size calculator at the bottom. Keep duty cycle below .85, use .60 for your BSFC, and stick to the stock 43.5 PSI fuel pressure, but take into account the fact that turbo pressure will create dynamic fuel pressure, causing your fuel pressure to ramp up.

Now please, put in the time to do the research, and before you go buying anything, look into the price difference (and driveability difference) between a heavily built D series vs. a mildly built B series. If you're looking for more information on a light B series build and swap, check out my build thread - I'm actually doing a 400 WHP LS swap.
