D16y8 stock valves safely rev to?
I have searched but have not found any concrete answers. I would like to know how high i can take my stock d16y8 valves before i run into problems. I am running an SC50 with crower springs and retainers along with the stage 2 cam but do i need to look into valves too? thanks for the help in advance

the power will probably drop off before you meet the vavle limit...
im gona say with the setup you have 9000k is the highest you should go safely

Yeah I used to rev the z6 to 8500 all day long, stock block... Never broke anything because of that. But the above post is right, power will fall off before you overwhelm your valve train. The z stops making power around 7500/8k. You could probably get more up top by retarding the cam, if my brain is working right.
