new name...smart question...not newbi. i have searched...and read....and have built 2 engines. d16z6 and b16a1. i was more interested in seeing peoples opinions on parts..what they like and don't like as wel as what people have had good luck with and what they hate. relax a little bit, it's more fun that way. anybody else have a decent answer?

well, I plan on running 15-20 psi on my d16z6 ('90 hatch dx). I am building the block with endyn pistons (9:1), crower rods, iron sleeved block, str blockguard, ported and polished head, 450 cc injectors controlled by a hondata stage 2b, si tranny....etc.

I am using a garrett t3 turbo in a custom turbo kit with a starion fmic......

I should be done by the end of summer......hopefully sooner

if you are getting it sleeved why do you need a blockguard? bad idea imho

450's should be able to support 15 psi. With ideal situations they are good for a little more than 300hp on a 2.0 4G63 motor. I have some fancy formulas laying around but I can't find them. A D16A6 can take 15 psi with the B series rods and supra piston solution. That's what nathansboostedcivic is/was running on his D16. How much cash are you looking to spend and what engine management are you going to use?

Look into ENDYN's (www.theoldone.com) block posting. That's what ABAZ's using on his built ZC...and it's only like $300-400. I would definently like into that.

ZDYNE ECU is what i was going to use. i haven't decided on how much money to spend yet. this is a winter project so i've got time and money to do this right. someone is really running 15psi+ with only pistons and rods though? got some good fuel management! that block posting is really cool to, i was thinking about that.

Yeah with all the old timers like you mister member for 73 days we should just delete his post.

With proper tuning you should be fine with rods and pistons, blockguard for added comfort. Of course, when something goes wrong, get ready for sleeving.

Isn't that what Jinxproof is running? Like 350 hp or something fairly crazy on 450cc squirters? Thought I saw him talking about that a ways back..
