Huh?
Turbo b18 can make the most power for cheap, I think. Xenocron is making 300 whp on his stock b18 block.

ok lets see a built D can make over 400hp and run safe on a good tune and last. a boosted B wont do it and if it dose not for long.

its all about money....the d-series will run out of breath before the LS will and the LS will run out of breath before the b16, but to reach each motor's potential you have to fork over more and more money....so set your hp goals and lay down a budjet and then decide what to do.

same delema here im thinking of switching to a b20vtec after a customers car made consistent 11.8's on a stock block on 12psi of boost. cars been running for 3months and regularly brought to the track.
im torn between a built D or a b20/ls vtec turbo

alright. ive had a d16 turbo, ls turbo, and an lsvtec turbo.
the d16 was smooth, but only ran 6-7 psi. it was very fun.
the ls turbo was nice, ran it up to 12 psi 100% stock motor, moved well, got me low 14 second slips.
the lsvtec was about 12 psi, but i had a much better exhaust setup. was night and day over the ls, which was night and day over the d16.

sell the d kit, have like 7k, and build an lsvtec turbo
