D16 Golden eagle or performer x?
What is the difference between these two intakes? I have heard different things and just wonder which one I should go with on my forged, sleeved and boosted d16? Any input would be helpful before I make a purchase.

Re: D16 Golden eagle or performer x?
The performer x would be better suited for the motor with it's airflow characteristics and rev range. Plus the long runners will help improve on what little torque the motor makes to start with
The golden eagle has way too large of a plenum for that motor size (other things factor in but short version is it's just too large)

I think a lot of people have the misconception that turbo engines NEED a big plenum manifold. the thing is, that regardless of na or turbo, your manifold choice should be dictated by power band and not induction type. plenum shape is more important than plenum volume, and picking one based off your power band range is more important.
the performer x is better suited for upper mid range performance, where the big plenum short runner manifolds are for high rpm, peak power.
get the performer x.
