Re: D16/B16 Turbo (romoracing)
turbo will fit any car. its the manifold that you got to worry about
and the answer that is NO.. there is a tread on here someone on how to make it work. but it's ghetto and not recommended.

Re: D16/B16 Turbo (romoracing)
IMO all the piping should be close enough to make fit and make sure you get a turbo that will be good for both setups but you will definately need a different manifold for the B16 no matter what kit the manifolds will be different for the two motors

i have a greddy turbo manifold with a greddy 15g turbo.
it will fit both b and d series engines. some may call it "ghetto" but it works FINE. it doesnt leak any exhaust and it works great.
233 whp b16 crx 9 psi.
400 shipped for turbo, manifold, wastegate and oill ines. aol aim me if your interested. notphiltran

Hmm, If people that pull 500whp from a SOHC are daily drivers then ill try 500+ but if not then maybe 300-400whp. What do you guys think?

For a daily driver I would shoot for 300-400whp. You could always have a low and high boost setting and just use the high boost setting at the track.

What do you say i boost in psi's. Im looking for 5-8 as a daily thing and 12-15 for the track. (12-15 when i get my engine FULLY built)

Re: D16/B16 Turbo (romoracing)
thinking in "psi" isnt a good way to go about it...although it has its part....i dont have the experience to back it up but i think 300-400 is more than you can imagine..with that much power on the street you will rip like crazy...thats an 11sec car easy...its pretty easy to get caught up in the hype reading on here but you dont need the most power there are many factors in going fast...

i agree with you. im just saying what has been made.
i for sure would not think 500whp would be reilable in a SOHC.
i was just stating the motor can handle some power.
300-400 is what i would shoot for.
