Many D's just can't handle the extra cylinder pressure, and the weak OEM headbolts stretch just enough. It pushes air into the coolant system, which reduces its capacity and blows coolant out of the radiator.
The Y8 HG is multilayer stainless (MLS), and with ARPs can take a lot of power - on perfectly flat block & head surfaces.
A greddy kit (with fmic added) would work for you to make 180-200whp, but a custom kit with a log manifold will be better overall, and some logs work with AC. IDK if your D15B has the deckheight of a normal D15, but if so a prefabed downpipe may hang a little low since its probably meant for a D16. A 60trim T3 with a .48ar hotside would work perfect for you. With the smaller 50trim, stock exhaust/cat, and 6psi my 8:1cr D16 made 160whp and spooled by 3300. With a bigger exhaust, it will make more power per PSI, and spool faster - but obviously louder. I use an e-cutout now, best of both worlds.
As for tuning, FL doesn't test so you can go with Crome, eCtune, Neptune, S300, etc. Just get a decent tuner, and you'll be set.

Re: D15b Powered Sol wanna go Boost
is it jdm d15b or regular d15b. There is a big difference. If you are looking for 200whp. either greddy 15g kit, or dsm turbo setup.
