sharpie, painters tape, measuring tape, dremel.

Measure, it, mark it, measure it again...measure it again, tape it, cut it.

try mounting the intercooler closer to the radiator core support. if it's back far enough the piping won't hit the fog light baffles. i made a small threat (my daily), check my sig. it might help

I always like to cut it a little bit at a time, then test fit it, tehn repeat about 20 times. It takes forever but it usually gets the best results. especially if you dont do alot of body work

thanks guys...im a perfectionist, so the measuring multiple times and cutting little by little wont bother me at all.

nonovurbizniz--its a 93 civic bumper and ic i want to say is 24x6x3....

jasoncrashtech--my first thought was to mock it, like you said, as deep as possible, but the piping just wouldnt line up. i had no choice but to mount it flush with the bumper support. it all good though....

Don't use a Dremel tool. Those are for building little boats and doll houses. An air or elecrtic 1/4" die grinder with a 1/2" metal cutting carbide bit will make fast work of the plastic and leave a very smooth edge once you get the hang of it. You can use a belt sander to straighten out and trim the long straight cuts along the top and bottom too.

a buddy of mine had an extra bumper collecting dust in his garage, so i am using that as a mock up bumper to do all of my cuts and what not. so i did use an air grinder with a 3/8 metal carbide blade and it worked great. cut right through it with ease. so far i only cut off the plastic fog light holes and the plastic middle grill piece. i havnt made any of the piping cuts yet, but i'll let you guys know how everything went and i'll try to post some pics
