Default Cutting new turbo

I heard when you install a new turbo you must let the turbo "Cut" itself, Kinda like a break in i guess, never heard of it, has anyone else?

i dont know though man...never heard of "cutting" a turbo

i put my te32e on at the track when i had my buick and started it up after priming it, and proceeded to run 12's with it.

maybe you are thinking of those turbos with the wax in the compressior housing? have you guys ever heard about that?

i don't think turbos have a break in period. just prime it and go!

apexi turbos are the only ones i know of that do that
