Looks like pre-charger air to me.......maybe that was your point? My eyes are bad in my old age tho.

It looks like pre-charger air, but I can't see the manifold. If your good with aluminum you can seperate the IM into 2 compartments so the air comes out of the blower into piping, through the intercooler, and back into the IM.
Pre- charger is not going to work.(if that's what it is)

yes, the air goes through the cooler and comes out and has to go 3inches out the bottom piping into the TB

Why before the charger? You're going to end up with close to the same effect as living up here in NY...

Re: Custom Methanol/Intercooler project for my JRSC R (turbotime)
yeah, I'm a little confused myself. I can't tell if this has been covered or what, but if that is what it looks like, an intercooler between the air filter and supercharger, then it really won't be doing anything for you. Except making sure that the intake charge is almost as hot as the engine bay good luck whatever your plans are, maybe i'm not seeing something right

Virtually nothing is going to happen. Even with ice in that "intercooler" you might see intake temps 10 degrees below ambient. Big friggen whoop-de-doo when it's then being compressed to 250+ degrees AFTER the blower, which is right where you need the intercooler. Honestly, throw that **** in the garbage, it's making you slower because of all the extra weight in it right now, vs. the virtually nonexistant power gain.

You are cooling ambient air... In fact, that core will be a huge air restriction and you will see a huge loss in power instead.
Same deal with NA engines... Would we start putting FMIC's on NA motors and see gains? It won't do anything...
So before you waste any more time and money into the plumbing, you should really reroute it post-charger
