Custom Circuit to mimick SAFC?
Somone told me that there was a post on here about a custom circuit that can be built to mimick an SAFC so I can run 450cc injectors. I did a search but didn't come up with anything. I guess I'm just not looking for the right keywords. Could someone that knows what I'm talking about link me or give me some appropriate keywords to search on for that thread?
Thanks..
Thanks..

Re: Custom Circuit to mimick SAFC? (PureCRXtasy)
You're probably thinking of using standard resistors instead of a Honda resistor pack to run the low-imp injectors on a late model. I doubt there is anything you can do to mimick an SAFC since it uses a RISC CPU.

Circuit #2 on the site is the one you want. I've written several posts on the subject, but I'll summarize. All the AFC hack does is manipulate the MAP sensor output that the ECU "sees". For larger injectors you need a circuit that tricks the ECU into thinking the MAP sensor output is lower than it really is so that the ECU sends out smaller squirts to the larger injectors. You will also need some way of adding fuel at idle. See also http://www.hondata.com/techinjectorsizing.html for more info.
