Currently installing 15g greddy turbo and have questions
I am currently installing a 15g greddy turbo on my civic dx hatch and i have some questions.
1. My charge pipe sits very low to the ground and i think it might scrap? Does anyone have pictures of their setup underneath their car?
2. The charge pipe is very close to the downpipe? Is this how this turbo setup is? I wrapped the downpipe with heat rap to help?
3. Can i use a hose clamp for my charge pipe coupler? I ran out of tclamps for now until i get more? I am only running 7lbs until i get a tune.

Re: Currently installing 15g greddy turbo and have questions
If the charge pipe sits to low then cut/extend/re-weld it to fit correctly.
If the pipes are to close to the dp then clock the turbo and re-adjust your ic pipes. If that doesn't work cut your dp and re-work it. Only problems you might have is the couplers shrooming out and getting soft.
Yes you can use hose clamps, just make sure you adjust them once ever week or 2 because they will loosen up.

The charge pipe should not be lower than your splash guard. You will crush the pipe on a driveway.
Tthe charge pipe and downpipe just about touch on that setup. You can wrap the pipes, or you can try to twist the charge pipe away from the downpipe.
I use hose clamps on all my charge piping, I never had one blow off on me and the pipes are not bead rolled.
Post a pic and we'll let you know if it looks ok or not.
