CRX Jackson Racing Super Charger - power loss while under boost
i've checked and rechecked everything 100 times, and everything seems to be hooked up fine, and im showing boost on my gauge about 8-9 psi max. it pulls normal like it should while light on the throttle, but as soon as the gauge reads 1psi it starts to bog down, like its not getting any more power, it actually feels like it lost a little power, kind of like when you feel power loss by turning the air conditioner on. im using the JR FMU that came with the kit and fuel pressure reads as follows - 28psi at idle - 40psi at idle with vacuum disconnected from stock regulator - 60psi while under boost. i set my base timing at 10* as per JR's instructions. i was thinking maybe it was due to increased temperatures in the manifold so i hooked up another air temp sensor and let it hang in the engine bay, still acts the same way. no check engine light at all, im at a dead end and do not know what to look for, please help, thanks.

Sounds like a fuel problem.
Stock injectors? Do you have a aftermarket intank fuel pump?

as far as i know it has the stock injectors, its not a high flow fuel pump, but its brand new. i think i might be running rich, is 60 psi too high of fuel pressure? i didnt was to have to get a wide band or anything to find out, i was hoping that this would be a bolt on deal with all the parts that came with it.

the JR stuff is just band-aid. I would honestly spend the money and get it tuned with some 440cc injectors.
here is a link to my dyno graph running the JRSC at 6PSI with the JR MAP controller and FMU. there's also a stock cat, so the exhaust is restrictive.

Re: (spets)
Jackson stuff is known for crazy high fuel pressures. I actually think you are underfueled. I'm not to familiar with the crx kit but the fuel pump was a must have for the integra. Once you have a capable pump I'd try a static base fuel pressure of 50-55psi.

Tip-in fuel pressure (pressure with the vacuum hose removed from the JR FMU) should be 55 PSI.
But get the MAP sensor controller, it will make your life much easier. You can reduce tip-in pressure and add back most of your timing, it will make the car run 100% better. I think someone in the JRSC thread is selling one, or they are only $129 new.
