CRX B16 Homemade Turbo Done / Tyrus FMIC / T3 .60 .63 AR (56k come look too)
:::JOINED THE DARKSIDE::: In the last year I went from buying a CRX Si D16A6 to a ZC to a B16 this March. Ever since I ordered the B16 I've been collecting turbo parts. The car was running great for a couple days but then it started missing a little, I pulled the plugs and I think one of the injectors was clogged. I shipped the injectors out to CruzinPerformance, in the mean time I'm replacing the head gasket, getting ARP head studs, checking all the valves, upping boost to 9psi, and then going to the dyno. Oh and for my review, HOLY **** I will from this day on always be turbo. Enjoy... My setup is temporarily ghetto and it's a little torn apart since I sent out the injectors, feel free to flame I could care less, I'm turbo

I like it. Im helping my bro put together a homemade turbo kit. Share where you got some of your parts especially the IC pipes and turbo. Is that the jgstool.com log style manifold they sell for $250?

Damn that intercooler fits perfectly. YOur car is goin to be a sleeper. Neon radiators are shorter the only thing is they dont have the part to fill the radiator.

This kodak camera is the optical illusion camera, the downpipe is actually very far away from the block, same with the oil feed, the oil feed is on more of a steep angle, it seems to work fine no smoke at all. Everything is pretty temporary, I have hopes of a T3/T04e and becoming semi-built this winter.
EDIT: I had to do a TON of cutting to get the I/C to that location.

no smoke doesn't mean anything. it just means its not leaking. what you need the oil for is lubrication, else your going to own your turbo in no time at all.
make sure it drops in straight down, and the return line goes straight back into the pan up top in the deep part.

i also agree. before you "own" your turbo rotate the center section, so that the oil lines are straight up and down. and so the water lines are horizontal.

The center section oil feed can be about 25 degrees off, but vertical is the best. Your dad rules!!!

Nice set up. Everything looks great, the only thing is the radiator. I would maybe invest in a jim, or place cross memer. But thats just my opionion. Looks good never the less.

dood on the first pic the oil line is almost horizontal to the dam engine.. i dont think its an optical illusion.

Yeah having a Dad who is has been a welder for over 20 years is finally a cool thing. DadFab gets a big from me. I was trying to sell him on making manifolds for people but he wasn't up for it. He did get really into the turbo install and he's going back through and making improvements on things he made. I only had to buy two flanges he made the rest and even made a custom large oil return flange. Yes it is a Tbird turbo.
To the guys helping me with my oil, can I rotate the center section if I'm using the internal wastegate? My oil pan is tapped perfectly, high as can be in the deepest part. The only thing is that face of the oil pan is kind of on a slant so it makes the fitting a little downhill.

Can I rotate it with keeping the internal wastegate?
Which pipes will it effect, downpipe, first charge pipe?
