Default A couple of last minute questions before trip to get tuned..

ok im all set i pretty much have everything i need. Just a couple of questions. I have a turbonetics kit on my GSR. Not a bad kit but of course i have had to deal with the crappy MF2 Setup (IMO). I have a chipped P72 with hondata s200b no basemap yet, RC 550 injectors and a walboro 255 fuel pump. Now my question is. The guy i am getting my car tuned from is about 3 hours away. (without a basemap) and no tuner near by to put one on for me. If i install my 255 fuel pump and 550cc injectors will my car start and drive fine for the 3 hour trip on the stock ECU and MF2 fuel setup just to get it over there. I mean that MF2 is already making it run rich as hell so if that is the only consequence of doing this im fine with that. But can these two things be put on and driven safely over there? or will the car not drive properly with them? TIA for your replies

i'd go ahead and throw in the fuel pump

do NOT drive there on the bigger injectors. what i would do if i was you is install the injectors at home so that you can get the right spacers and everything. remove injectors and spacers and put them in a box to bring with you. put in your stock injectors and drive to the dyno. when you get there re-install your bigger injectors.

i get people all the time that just bring injectors with them that havn't installed them previously and they never have everything that they need. so instead of swapping injectsors being quick and easy it becomes a long pain in the *** of a process.

cool so sort of like just "test install" the injectors. And driving on a 255 fp over stock wont affect driving or be detrimental to my engine for that 3 hours will it?
