Default could i hit 12's with a jrsc

dx eg hatch

gsr motor
freshly rebuilt with zero miles on it (still not installed)
micropolished crank
new acl main and rod bearings
new arp rod bolts
new 81.5 mm gsr pistons
new piston rings

p&p head
3 angle valve job
CTR intake cam
GSR exhaust cam

jdm 4-1 header with 2.5" collector
CAI w/ 2.5" piping
2.5" exhaust piping
apexi muffler


b16 tranny
12lb flywheel
exedy clutch

15" wheels
azeni tires

jackson racing supercharger with 6lb pulley
walbro 255lph fuel pump

just looking to run 12's on street tires. haven't gotten the jrsc , just wondering if i could do it with the jrsc before i decide to buy one.

what compression does the motor have? and why the 6lb pulley?

sell the JSRC, header and CAI.. piece togeather a turbo kit.. you will be more happy in the end.. the most common thing i hear out of jsrc owners is "wish i woulda went turbo"

definitly can be done, i know someone who has done it in a 99 si coupe, at 10 psi with a gsr motor, lht intercooler. If you didnt buy it already i would recommend a small turbo setup that can get you in the 12's with similar response to the jackson at low end for atleast 1500 cheaper than a good jrsc setup.

yes it can be done... I went 13.6 on the 8psi pulley with just bolt-on's, on BFG drag radials, and no EMS. With some tuning, and on slicks I have no doubt it would have ran 12's. This was also on a b16.

Rev that baby high. Superchargers love it!
