compretion test
i did a compretion test on my 1995 integra gsr with stock internals with 156,000 miles on it and the motor was warm not hot nor cold and it read 195 psi acrost the board. it dont burn oil. what is the compretion ratio for that kind of numbers if anyone knows? and is it ok to go over 10 psi of boost with that numbers, i have 310cc rc injectors with a 8:1 fmu and colder plugs and my btm is set at .5 or a deg with a 16 deg base timming, and my afc is at a -15% fuel over 5000 rpm it seems to be to rich if i go higher on the fuel.
what do you think is going on ,and/or what can i do to get more out of it and i have the new jg mani too |
Re: compretion test (turbogsrb18c1)
your fuel setup seems fine... but i wouldnt boost 10psi with it. if you plan on boosting that high... ditch the fmu and afc... get hondata.
by the way... its "compression" test http://images.zeroforum.com/smile/emwink.gif |
Re: compretion test (dlplayboy)
do you think that the compretion is low?

Re: compretion test (turbogsrb18c1)
Very good compression. I wouldn't recommend 10 PSI on pump gas with stock internals and high compression. Stock pistons have weak ring lands. If you have a thicker headgasket to lower compression to around 9.1:1 , 12 psi would be the max I would go.

Re: compretion test (CRV Monster)
what is the psi of 10:1 CR and i have been running 10 psi for a while too and no problems so far
