Comments please: ClutchNet Stage3 clutchplate+pressure plate

I just rode in my friend's bigturbo MR2. He has a 6 puck copper plate, and the engagement is REALLY choppy (when he's just driving around town). He said that
his doesn't have the sprint dampeners.

My question is that I have the ClutchNet 6puck copper WITH springs. Do the springs make it engage almost like stock? Or will it grab IMMEDIATELY, and make
it impossible to feather the clutch?

I have the 6 puck copper with springs - it sometimes engages like stock but mostly engages a bit shuddery if I
don't do it just right.

I also have the HD pp - if I drop the clutch from too far it will really slam into engagement.
Sometimes the clutch will squeal just before it engages. That usually happens when it is a bit cold.

I did not have my flywheel resurfaced and I don't think I "broke in" the clutch properly.

I later found out that I should have been gentle with my new clutch for at least 500 miles.

I started dropping the clutch after 50 miles...

I'm running a ACT HD PP with solid 6puck. How does this compare to the clutchnet stage3 for power handling and drivablity?

Guy, you are welcome to come to San Antonio and drive me 'teg. I have the clutchnet sprung 6 puc disc and extreme pp. I get no clutch chatter except in reverse sometimes. There is plenty of room to slip the clutch even with the extreme pp. I like lots of pedel pressure, however, it does take some getting used to. I let a friend of mine drive it around and he got used to it, but when he got back into his SI he told me he was riding his clutch like there was no tomorrow.
