Default Cometic .56 Gasket on stock LS turbo setup

I have a new cometic HG .56" thick that I was going to use on my gsr before I sold it, I was wondering if it will work on my stock bore LS turbo set up. will this allow me to up the boost b/c of the drop in compression. Or should I just keep the stock HG? any input would be great.

Stock Headgasket is fine. The LS is already lowered from the factory to 9.2:1. Any lower than 9.0 and idle becomes very questionable.

Just use the stock HG

I could be wrong, but i'm almost postitive Cometic (or anyone) doesn't make HGs near that thick. The thickest MLS headgasket that I know of that cometic makes is a .12 and for honda B-series is a .078. That head gasket would drop a LS compression ratio to like 6:1.

i wouldnt do it the compression on the ls is already turbo friendly. lowering it this much will not help much unless your planning on boosting 20+psi which wont be good on stock pistons, and not to mention an even worse daily driver.
