Clutch type for a GSR turbo with about +/- 300 hp?
im gonna have my turbo in soon and i was wondering what u guys have/use in your turbo set up. im hoping to be pushing 300whp or so and i dunno if my ACT stage 2 disc will hold it. ive been looking at ACT, exedy, CM, and action clutch but im not sure what is good and is suitable for my needs. basically i wanted one with the pedal pressure maybe a lil stiffer than stock, and wont chatter or jsut a lil if it has to be. i drive my car in traffic too much to a get an all out 4 puck or something, so any suggestions are appreciated. thanks guys.
btw: its a obd1 hydraulic tranny, just FYI

Re: (11sec.sleeper)
for streetability an ACT XTSS is very perfect. it combines a street disc with a 2600lb plate (xtreme) which provides for quick shifts but also very easy to slip the clutch in your daily driving... 1200 rpm daily off the line launches are very possibly with this clutch. I had it with a 7.5 lb fidanza flywheel and loved it.
be sure you break the clutch in for 500 miles though, the recomended 300 miles is very insufficient.

- not to jack your post but i switched to a 6 puck and xtreme disc, does anyone know if there is a break in period for the 6 puck? -

OS Giken or Cusco(aluminum cover OS Giken) super singles are good to the 400hp mark. Yes, there is clutch clatter but these setups come with a flywheel and have massive clapming force.

This is what I have and LOVE IT.
4 and 6 puck ACT's do NOT need any break in period.

I have 320whp and 250wtq and this is what I use and it is great but I would get a stage 4 if I were you just in case.

Re: (B00STeD)
Well I have a 6puck with a HD pressure plate feels good. A little time you get so used to it you won't even make the clutch chatter. I can now pull of nice and smooth.
