clutch slipping due to recent turbo installation
i have a competition stage 2 clutch, it has been on for about 6 months, all n/a. it was doing great untill i put my turbo on. im making about 190 ft lbs of torque on a dynodynamics. it slips a lot in the higher gears. (3rd 4th) the pedal started to get closer and closer to the floor untill it wouldnt fully disengage. it is really hard to get in any gear.
i spoke with chris at competition clutch. he seems to think its my disk. i disagree, i think its the pressure plate not holding. i think the diaphram is wearing out. he ended up sending me a stage 4 clutch kit to me. what should i look at on the clutch to determine what is wrong? i have it out of my car now, and will install the new clutch tomorrow, after i get my flywheel resurfaced.

Re: (vietjdmboi)
well the clutch is now on the way to competition clutch. but the fingers all looked good. they felt a little soft, compared to the new clutch i got, but overall looked good. the disc has plenty of material left on it. it did smell kinda funny tho

Yo man, that stage 2 clutch does not seem to be up to part if I read right.
It says "Street Series 2100 Clutch Kit
The CC Street 2100 Series performance clutch kit is designed for the moderate enthusiast with considerable bolt-on modifications - to include 60-80 shots of nitrous. This unit is properly suited for aggressive street enthusiasm and moderate track use. This kit delivers approximately 80% increase in torque capacity and extended life.
The 2100 kit includes a performance Competition Clutch pressure plate, a high torque sprung disc with antiburst steel backed Carbon Kevlar facings, all applicable bearings and the appropriate alignment tool.
The only way for that disc to hold for your kind of power is to use an Extreme duty PP. Other wise a 6 puck sprung disc is the way to go buddy.

i definetly see that now, but according to that description it should be able to hold 80% more torque than stock. stock i made about 110ft lbs or torque, now im making about 198 ft lbs. which is about 80% more than stock. so i guess i took it right on the brink of failure. plus this was on a dyno dynamics dyno, which read a lot lower than a dynojet.
heres the dyno sheet
