clutch? lightend or stock flywheel?
I'm going to be pushing 450-500hp, its going to be fun/race car. I'm really looking into a competition clutch stage 5, what have you guys experienced with? I'm unsure about flywheel, should i run lightened or stock? what brand is recommended or have you guys experienced with? thanks

One possitive aspect of the heavy stocker is it will take more heat if you have to slip the clutch on the line. This is in terms of the amount of mass you have to soak up heat, just like the theory behind brake rotors. Aluminum won't help, since it can only move the heat fast, but has very little mass to hold that heat.
As far as the usual question asked, you'll have more than enough power to accellerate a stocker, and you may want it's extra weight for a super-duty clutch like you plan on.
Cliffs: stay stock, or ITR for a small reduction.

Very good informative post, I'm about to change yet another clutch and was thinking of reverting back to a stock flywheel.
