Clocking center section on a Garrett t3/t4 turbo?
I successfully clocked my compressor the way that I wanted, but when I tried to clock the center section to get the oil drain correct, it wouldn't budge.
All the bolts came loose no problem, do I need to remove them?

Loosen The Bolts On The Hotsideof The Turbo. You Have To Really Wake It To Make It Turn. Well With My I Did At Least. Use A Soft Mallet

That is what I meant to say a MALLET not a hammer, either way softly don't kill the turbo lol

Yes.

It's not new, it's used. But, there's not a whole lot of miles on it.
So just loosen the bolts, then whack the center section with a mallet?
Yes.

Re: (josh0407)
i would brace one side of the turbo either the turbine or compressor in a vice or if turbo is mounted to manifold loosen the bolts to turbine and use whatever housing that is not mounted/secure to use as leverage to turn the CHRA. the CHRA is small so it may be hard to hit with a "hammering device" lol.
