Default Clicking noise in head....LMA's to blame??

I have a 99 GSR turbo and it is my summer only car. I put it in storage this winter after i had problems with the charging system, which have been resolved now. I was driving it the other day because it has been rather nice out and the streets are clear. I heard a cl-ick cl-ick cl-ick noise under the hood so i stopped to investigate. The sound seems to be coming from the driver's side corner of the head, near the cam gears. I dont know what it is, but since i have to pull the head for ARP studs anyway, i'm going to investigate.

I know its a broad question, but what do you think it could be?? I was told to check the LMAs (lost motion assemblies) because they tend to go out sometimes. The head has 65k miles on it and about 7k of that are boosted. Any suggestions??

Thanks!

valve lash or LMAs, both are easy to fix.

or you can use the prelude lmas + shims and never replace your lmas ever

sweet...i'll just adjust the valves and see what happens. I have to pull the head anyway to put in my ARPs so it should be no big deal. Thanks!
