cleaning out the catalytic converter ?
hello everybody
i have a d14a4 civic with 2" downpipe from the turbo to the catalytic converter. let say i dont have enough money to make a full exhaust system,
so should i clean out the catalytic converter ?
will it help me gain a few dead horses?
best regards moshik galimidi

Re: (rewsnaeht)
we did it to our work truck last year, just get a long steel rod and a big ****** hammer. Remeber to have at least 10 feet of available blasting space behind the car when you start it up, the resulting smoke and debri caused me to laugh so hard it took me 30 seconds to make a noise

Re: cleaning out the catalytic converter ? (RACEPAK)
Took off my Cat, used a huge crowbar and smashed it down, cleared it all out in less than 5 minutes, of course most of it was allready in peices from backfiring so much. Awesome results from doing it, but that might be because it was pretty much disintegrated anyhow.
