Civic VX D15 turbo'ing....whatcha think???
i have stock VX with Audi turbo (oil cool only), an after market fuel pressure regulator and an eclipse BOV...all ready to be installed. no intercooler. would it work. what about running it at just low 3 or 4 psi. my engine is pretty good.

Well considering you know what you are doing it will work! What kind of turbo manifold are you going to use?

im actually using my stock hf exhaust manifold and had my friend make me an adapter plater to mate the turbo to the manifold. i am thinking of buying 450cc from eclipse.

It would be interesting to see how the vtec-e engine reacts to boost. Keep us posted. To me it sounds like a fun setup to see how much boost it'll take before you put a rod through the block. Those vtec-e motors are

Sounds interesting, I would like to know how everything goes as well. What size is the Audi turbo? Would it be about the size of a 14g DSM?

which way clock or counter clock wise? i never messed with my cam before...and mine's a vtec?? i thought it was just a regular d15???

If i recall the 92-93 vx's didnt have vtec-e on the valve cover. Just look at the block code down and a little left the exhaust manifold--should say d15z? or something like that, i forget.
TO retard timing turn the distributor towards the radiator.

oh i turn the distributor...ok. and its a D15Z. WOW i didnt know mine was vtec...it doesnt say though on my valve cover. IM REALLY EXCITED. ok it'll be this weekend that im gonna put everything together(turbo)...ill let u guys know on monday all the 411's

i dunno how the d15s crank will hold up to boost man i would stick to getting another motor for that **** i thought about using a turbo setup using a t3 or 14b on myt d15 but its not worth the trouble if it breaks even though a 13 sec d15 would be nice for a junkyard motor setup and turbo
