Default Chipping accord P0A questions

So i was searching around and found that somehow the 94-95 Accord SOHC VTEC P0A ecu can be chipped. I got one from work and dont know quite how to handle it. Ive chipped several regular ecu's with no problems, but does anyone know ANYTHING about this subject?

Much like the H22 ECUs, just replace the chip that's in there with another one. (or socket it). I've done quite a few of them.

Look at the board, it will be self explanatory.

Do some research on pgmfi.org I'd be surprised if it's not there somewhere.

Post a pic of the inside of the ecu circling where you think it goes & we will confirm it.

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by a1320honda &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">Sorry to be a pain, but can you show me which chip, also other threads guys were sayin the EGR and.... crap another wire had to be switched, and im sure this is an automatic, so can you tell me how to convert it to manual also? </TD></TR></TABLE>

they were talking about swaping the a6/ a11 pins if you changed over to a chipped P28, not if you were actually chipping a P0A.

you can socket/ chip a P0A but I was under the impression from some time I sent on pgmfi, that unless your good with a hex editor... there is no simple program otherwise to manipulate the base code/ values for tuning.

The majority, if not all, chips for the P0A will be only NA chips, and usually poor ones at that. You simply can't chip a Honda (MAP-based engine), since each is different enough to warrant a seperate tune. Unless you get the chip from the same place you get your exact turbo setup and make an exact duplicate of their entire car, you'll run into big problems. Even if it is an exact copy, it won't be all that safe or make the most power it could have.
