check valves??..blue black box???
goin sohc vtec turbo...motor is a 95 ex...what is this bypass thingy or check valves...wanting to peice together a lil turbo kit..nothin too much...not lookin to go krazze fast just a lil low end boost to and from skoo...so do i need to run check valves??...tahnx all

check valve prevents your ECU from seeing the boost pressure... if it sees boost (MAP signal over 3 volts) it will freak out. you can do it electronically (clamp the signal to 3 volts) or mechanically (prevent the MAP sensor itself from seeing positive pressure by bleeding it off).
