Default Check valve to raise boost? **confused**

If I were to put a check valve in-line, technically, wouldn't that raise my boost level? Because by bleeding off some of the pressure, it would take longer for the wastegate to open...

How many psi would the average aquarium check valve bleed off?

exactly that... tial wastegate... boost source is coming from the compressor... T a check valve in line which would bleed off pressure... similar to the way a check valve bleeds off pressure to the map sensor, right?

i always though when useing a check valve you make it so the source doesnt see boost. ie. place it inline, not t'd in.

So way #2 is correct with a check valve, or just use a small T?
