ok so heres what happened to my max rev manifold, after dyno tuning and running the car for 3 hours, its been on the car for quite some time, but i just started boosting the car, so i personally feel that this should not have happened, im rewelding it back together today so it will be fixed because i need to drive the car, im gonna have to give max revs manifold a , looks like ill be saving for a full race........

Ouch.
I guess it could happen to the best of them?
Doesn't Lovefab give a lifetime warranty? That sounds like the way to go, well I guess you can't go wrong with full race either.
Good luck.

did you happen to port the wastegate hole for better flow? I had the same thing happen to my max rev and when i looked into it the wastegate flange is welded mostly from the inside, hence any porting of the hole weakens the weld considerably.

nope didnt port the wastegate hole at all, i put 250hp to the wheels and 215lb, drove the car for 3 hours then this happened......im going to call them and see if they will replace it, no reason it should have happened

I've used the maxrev mani in two friend's cars...one broke, one didn't. No grinding was done on the manifold and it broke exactly like yours. After welding the flange back on we haven't had a problem with that manifold since.

lol, i coulda told you maxrev manifolds suck caaaack-n-*****
Max rev won't replace your manifold, they wont reweld it for you, they wont do anything unless you pay them a nominal fee.

uh huh i know....i had a kit myself. Personally i never had a problem with maxrev. It was hard in the beginning to talk to Curtis (owner) but i am sure he will kindly exchange the manifold for you.

Re: (Silverbeast)
well the thing is i did research before i bought the kit, and saw nothing but good things about the manifolds compared to other kits such as drag and rev hard, and i got a good deal on the kit with hondata from what is now wired speedlab, i figured i could just upgrade everything later, but anyway its fixed for now, if something else happens i will definitly be calling them up, and yea an inline pro manifold would fit that nicely oh by the way the numbers are on 10psi semi tuned, i think i will make another post with a pic of my dyno chart.....
