Default Check Engine Light with Turbo Exhaust

I tried searching and could not find any answers. Best exhaust for a turbo is no cat and 3" pipe correct? So what can you do about the engine light that comes on if you gut your cat? Do they make something that tricks the computer into thinking a cat is there? Thanks!

Yup, it's called an 02 simulator. Just get a cat instead though, better for the environment, easier on you, and will quiet the car down some.

OK an O2 simulator. I see your point about the environment but my other cars have cats so feel better If I were to keep a cat woudnt it be a nasty bottle neck in the middle of a 2.5" downpipe and a 3" thermal system?

yes it would be. if you dont have money and emissions doesnt matter, gut it but if you got money but a 2.5 or 3 inch high flow cat.

Yup, they aernt that much, and you can get a 3 inch high flow cat. Just spend the money and I promise it will be worth it.

Well I guess majority rules! A high flow cat it is! So I will not need a o2 sim with a high flow cat? Does anyone have any kind of flow numbers on the difference between a test pipe and a 3" high flow cat? Thanks everybody!
