Check Engine light just went on... Just installed A/F from Apexi TT
Whats going on?? I just installed the white(o2) wire, and black (a/f) wire on my ecu and it was fine when I test ran it around the block. It took a minute for the a/f to come up, but it worked.
Now this morning coming to work, my check engine light came up. When I started driving from the stop light, my car had a delay in acceleration. Does this mean that my car is in limp mode? Does this have anything to do with my installation of the two wires into my ecu?
THANK YOU FOR ANY INPUT!!!!

I'm not 100% sure but only certain codes will put the car in limp mode. Did you check the code yet? Maybe you wired it up wrong. Anyone else?

OK i have an autometer a/f gauge that makes my car run shitty. It always throws CELs screw that! The reason why is that your o2 censor sends like .7 volt every 3 seconds to the ecu to make sure that the o2 sensor is still there. If you spliced the wire into the o2 1 then your drawing the .7 volt or howevermuch it is away from the ECU and then your ECU thinks that your o2 sensor has died... By the way when doing any electrical work on your car do yourself a favor and disconnect the battery cabel so that you dont screw somthin up like me (zap'd me radio and cant figure out whats up check'd all fuses) anyways, if you wont to keep the A/F gauge solder the connections and reset the ECU. I wont thorw a code, for a while.....

looks like u wired it up wrong somehow... the o2 sensor wiring is very sensitive too... i hope you soldered it or else it might be messing up the signal the ecu sees. double check everything...
