Cheapturbo.com Rebuild Service - Big  =)
I just got my T3/T04B back from cheapturbo.com and I can't believe it's the same turbo. The thing looks brand new, nothing like the crusty hunk of metal I sent out. They must have sandblasted and hot-tanked the turbine, because there's no trace of the crusty paint that was on it before, and the compressor looks equally fresh and clean. It's also weird being able to see the fins on the backing plate, since they were always filled with gunk before. They even sent a brand new turbine inlet gasket and oil drain gasket. I am seriously impressed with the results, and I highly recommend them to anyone who needs a rebuild. The cost was $250 with no hidden charges. I know I could have gotten a new one for $550, but for my broke ***, this was a great way to breathe life back into my 10+ year old turbo.

good to hear man. I always hear of people getting them rebuilt and they end up paying alot. Good to hear they didn't try to get you on hidden charges.

Nah, like 3 years ago, but the kit is a DRAG gen I, so it's pretty damn old.

Nah, sorry, my broke *** doesn't have a cam. Just imagine a brand new 5-bolt Turbonetics T3/T04B and you've pretty much got the picture.
