Charge pipes? Clamps what is everyone using
I know I'm using regular hose clamps and I boosted 18psi and blew the carge pipe clean off the turbo. I know they make alot better clamps but I don't know what to go with.

I agree, I just upgraded to t bolts on mine, got them on ebay for about $40, or so for 12 clamps Vecco performance.

Get T-clamp the first time and it'll be the last time you will worry about clamp. I went with the worm clamp first running 8 psi and it was *okay* then but once i went to 11 psi, it went nut. everytime i boost end up with a pipe popping out

Are your charge pipes beaded?
I have used beaded pipes and normal worm clamps with alot of pressure. No problems. Of course T-bolt clamps are a better choice but worm clamps can work well under a budget (or what you had at the time) situation.
I usually use constant tension T-bolt clamps on the compressor housing outlet. T-bolt clamp with spring under the adjustment nut.

t-bolt clamp work great. but like stated above if u weld a bead on the end of your pipes worm claps will work. i'm using worm clamps with the bead method and haven't had any problems.

I really like the dual hinge setup -- they looks like it will hold very well.

Re: Charge pipes? Clamps what is everyone using (B16A Grenade)
what size clamps would be needed for 2.5" pipe?
Im guessing:
Effective Diameter Range: 2.5''-2.81''
or would the bigger ones be better?
Effective Diameter Range: 2.63''-2.94''
